We are Kory and Ashley Koran. We met in December of 2019 and got married March of 2022. We live in Frisco, TX with our husky, Shiloh and just recently added our newest member, our baby boy Kayden. Before meeting each other, we were both on very different paths than we are now. But it was the our life paths and stories that led us to want to start Eclipso. Our story starts with Ashley. In January 2016, many truths came out in Ashley's life. She faced the end of an abusive relationship, was finally speaking up about her rape freshman year of college, and was in the hospital after having tried to take her own life. Months later, she was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder with Anxious Distress, something she battled her whole life and still does to this day. Throughout tough times, art always follows Ashley around. Although she had grown many walls up to protect herself, those walls seemed to come down when it came to art. Whether that artistic expression was through art, baking, custom cakes, custom sugar cookies music, dancing, singing, performing, cooking, etc. When she is making art, Ashley finds the few moments of peace in her anxiety-filled mind. In the end of 2019, she met Kory. Kory had his own past full of traumas and obstacles and to get through them, music was his main outlet. This commonality of using art as a form of therapy brought Kory and Ashley together. While being together, Kory and Ashley learned that telling their stories brought freedom and the main way they both knew how to tell those stories was through the art they made. They found a lot of spiritual and mental healing through sharing who they really are to each other and others for once in their life.

Ashley still battles her own mental health till this day. Kory still has his own struggles that he faces each day. However, they believe in living in community and together helping others experience the community and freedom that comes with sharing our stories and embracing artistic self-expression.

Remember, we all are unique in our story but we are not alone in our struggle. Here at Eclipso, our motto is to Outshine Your Shadow.
